A series of workshops aimed towards local community leaders
As part of the Communities Liaisons project carried out in partnership with XR Outreach and Climate for Agriculture, we invite you to a series of online workshops aimed at local community leaders: people active on climate and environment issues, those who organise, act and gather the community around them.

Workshop schedule:
- 07.06 The psychology of activism - the basics of issues related to activism, the emotions that accompany
it, the social roles played during activism and activist burnout.
- 09.06 History and philosophy of NVDA - a brief historical overview and basic ideas related to non-violent activism, demonstrating its role and effectiveness.
- 14.06 Working on building coalition partners - using resource theory and treasure chests, empowerment on a micro local community scale.
- 16.06 How to prepare an effective action - basics of action planning, goal setting and evaluation.
- 21.06 Action health and safety - how to prepare yourself and others to make actions safe, depending on the scenario, what to take care of as a priority.
- 23.06 Big actions in a small town - ideas and inspiration of proven scenarios for NVDA in smaller towns.
- 28.06 How to work with local communities - how to avoid the "savior from big city" effect, make use of the community's subjectivity and awaken its power of initiative.
